Hi, I’m Lee from Sophotogenic Wedding Photography. I’ve photographed many weddings at Lartington Hall, just outside Barnard Castle, and it is an absolutely gorgeous wedding venue to be married at. My style is relaxed and natural, with a few polished portraits, and I always shoot your day the way you want it - just how it should be.

Best photo spots at Lartington Hall

Lartington Hall is a really photogenic venue to get married at (but you know that already right?). It’s light, airy and full of loads of locations for photographs. Like all Apartment Group venues the Bridal prep area is amazing for photos with amazing stairs for when you’re walking down them to get married. The ceremony room is warm, inviting and really unique for a non-church venue. Outside is absolutely gorgeous with so much space for your group, family & couple photos.

Tips for your Lartington Hall wedding photos

• Get ready on site. Having everyone at the hall means less rushing and more natural photos of the build-up.

• Allow about 90 minutes after the ceremony for drinks, group photos and a few portraits, so nobody feels rushed.

• Sneak out for 10 minutes later on. The evening light out in the Teesdale countryside can be beautiful, especially in summer.

• Don’t worry about rain. The hall gives us plenty of great spots indoors, and a couple of umbrellas make for fun photos outside.
